Это считается дурным тоном. Heck (hell) в американском английском употребляется примерно там, где в русском "черт", обычно для связки слов и усиления. Примеры: Heck! (Черт!), What the heck are you doing... (Какого черта ты...), Heck no! (сильное нет, "Ни черта!") и т. д. Слово "ад" ( hell) тоже, конечно, употребляется и непосредственно, но это будет намного грубее. -
